I never ask people to pose or ‘put their arm there’, or look whimsically out the window. I wait for those moments where I see you. I wait, I watch, we chat, we laugh, we connect and I shoot.
This applies to all photography involving people. Whether it be staff running around a busy cafe, an intimate portrait or a business person needing some new headshots. I like raw and natural and believe customers do, too.
When it comes to commercial photography, a similar method applies. I wait for the right light, the light that creates mood and energy and puts your property or product in it’s best light.
I have a general hourly rate but I tend to work until I’m happy with the results, regardless of time. I shoot both digital and film.
